Beijing Huiling Program 2008

Beijing Huiling is a Chinese NGO (Non-governmental organisation) and NPO (Non-profit organisation) serving mentally disabled people. It aims to improve the quality of life of the mentally disabled people and their families. To promote and ensure the continuation of Beijing Huiling we propose you some activities. By participating you will be able to both enjoy good time and help us!

Hutong Tour

Discover the life in a hutong of Beijing. Be welcomed in traditional courtyard close to the Beihai Lake. After a Chinese lunch, watch our trainees performing popular songs and dances. Learn how to write Chinese characters. And follow a hutong tour specially made for you!

Every Tuesday and Thursday. Price 90 RMB per person.

Dumpling Party

Enjoy a Chinese party with friends. Learn to cook dumplings and enjoy it in our pleasant courtyard.

Art Exhibition

In Beijing Huiling art is seen as an important way to let the trainees express them selves. For the third year, Beijing Huiling is now proud to present its Art Exhibition, at three different venues in town. We welcome you to come and see the art!  

Beijing Huiling Charity Walkton

Let more people know that the third Sunday of May is The day of helping the disabled and really come near, understand, accept and help disabled people;Call on more attention about the disabled’s rights, and meanwhile arouse their self-strengthen and self-help spirit. By holding Huiling charity walking activity, we want to produce opportunities for more people to understand and accept the disabled, and even take part in social activities with them. Moreover, we initiate a harmonic, friendly, positive social culture which is shared by both ordinary people and disabled people.

One to One Sponsorship

In Huiling, there are nearly 50 trainees with learning difficulties.There is a story behind each of them. If you donate 100-300 Yuan a month, you can help someone with learning difficulties who are in need.We will report on the imprvoment of the trainee(s) you sponsored around Christmas each year.
